    I was in the Soviet Union when I was a kid (a long time ago.). We were even in the square with St. Basil’s Cathedral — as one of your pictures shows. I remember my mother wearing clothing a bit like yours: shorts and much more conservative top, and I remember many Russian women coming up to her and cursing at her and calling her names for how she was dressed. How times have changed :)
